How did you get a Ph.D. and a museum job before you were 26?
Dr. Geller is 26 in the first season of Friends and already has a Ph.D. from Columbia University, one of the best departments for paleontology in the world. According to the National Science Foundation, the median age of a physical science PhD recipient in 1994 was 31.
Sure, it's possible, but he should probably at least be reading some scientific papers in Central Perk if this is going to be at all credible.
