This Proves "Thomas The Tank Engine" Would Be Horrifying If It Were Real

You still wake up sometimes, don’t you? You wake up in the dark and hear the screaming of the trains.


A gigantic Thomas the Tank Engine cake was made today to celebrate the children's classic's 70th birthday.

The event took place in Melbourne, Australia, and whilst the cake itself looked delicious, most of the attention was on famed Australian icon Bert Newton, who dressed as The Fat Controller (Sir Topham Hatt in America).

In what can only be described as some sort of strange, cult-ish sacrifice to the coaltrain gods, Newton waved his "cutting knife" with glee.
