“Does Carter G. Woodson know about this?”
Stacey Dash recently made waves in the news when she appeared on Fox and Friends and stated "There shouldn't be a Black History Month." Today, a video was released that shows kids weighing in on the importance of black history.
The video was created by Because of Them We Can, a campaign which aims to educate the younger generation on the heroes who came before them.
The opener for the video is absolute gold.
The founder of Because Of Them We Can, Eunique Gibson, told BuzzFeed, "We have so much work to do, but isn't it great to see the children remind us of the importance of understanding both our history and our potential?"

"We know the conversation and work doesn't begin or end at Black History Month, but these kids show us that we have to seize the opportunity to uplift and share our history."
