It’s been 10 years since Tim Burton’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic was released! Let’s hope Violet Beauregarde got rid of that blue hue.
Freddie Highmore as Charlie Bucket
In 2005, Highmore was already a pro in the acting game, with titles like Finding Neverland and Five Children and It under his belt. Ten years later, the 23-year-old has a starring role as a young Norman Bates in A&E's Bates Motel.

AnnaSophia Robb as Violet Beauregarde
Since playing the gum-chewing Violet-who-turned-violet in 2005, Robb has starred in The Bridge To Terabithia and played a young Carrie Bradshaw in The CW's The Carrie Diaries. She also began studying at NYU in 2014.

Jordan Fry as Mike Teavee
After his first on-screen appearance as the video-game obsessed Mike Teavee, Fry voiced the main character in Disney's Meet The Robinsons. His list of acting credits remains short — his last was in 2012's Gone alongside Amanda Seyfried — but according to his IMDb page, Fry has recorded several songs for his first EP.

Philip Wiegratz as Augustus Gloop
After starring in his first English-language role in Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, Wiegratz returned to his native Germany and has had parts in several German films and TV shows. Fun fact: Wiegratz had to wear a suit to make him appear larger in his role as Augustus Gloop!
